I'm Pete Morgan, the person behind PC Guy. I've been repairing computers and laptops for home users and small businesses across Ellesmere Port, Chester and Wirral since 2008, and what started as a part-time venture alongside my career as a full-time field engineer has grown into my full-time family business — with my wife Gill helping keep things running smoothly. My passion for computers goes back a long way, further than I'd sometimes like to admit! It started with saving up pocket money for a Commodore 64, then a Commodore Amiga, before eventually making the jump to PCs. That curiosity never left me and over the past 25+ years I've built up a broad and deep knowledge of everything from hardware repairs and software troubleshooting to networking and custom PC builds. I work on all makes and models of Windows laptops and desktops and one of my real specialities is building custom gaming computers from scratch. Whatever your computer problem, chances are I've seen it before — and fixed it.

I'm not just someone who's good with computers , I hold formal qualifications that I worked hard to earn. I became a Microsoft Certified Professional, a CompTIA Certified Professional and a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) back in 2002, all self-funded, because I believed it was the right thing to do for my customers. I've also been a certified repair technician for both Samsung and Toshiba. That said, what I'm most proud of isn't the certificates on the wall, it's the fact that a huge portion of my work comes from returning customers and personal recommendations. That kind of trust isn't something you can qualify for. You have to earn it, one repair at a time.

I'm based in Little Sutton, Ellesmere Port, which puts me in a great spot to reach customers across a wide area.
